Ric Arrigoni, the founder of Hush Hair Salon, Inc. is a long time Manhattan Beach resident. Ric started his first salon back in early 2001. He has since opened two more salons all in downtown Manhattan Beach.

Ric has been a stylist for 20 years and has worked in salons in Marina del Rey, Santa Monica, and finally his home Manhattan Beach. He has had a chance to study with some of the world’s finest hairstylists including Luigi Murenu and Orlando Pita.

Ric sought out the finest products in the world, Kerastase and Shu Umeura, to enhance his high quality salons. Ric continues to polish his skills at every possible opportunity and leads his staff in the pursuit of higher education.

As a successful business owner, Ric feels the need to give back to the community. He and his salons have become involved with numerous charities, including the Walk with Sally Charity, and has created Hush Up with the LA Kings for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Corey has a keen eye and deep appreciation for all that is beautiful, whether found in nature or created by hand.

Since entering the beauty industry, her passion has flourished. Her vast knowledge in premier product lines include Shu Uemura, Kerastase, Loreal, Unite and much more. She is also certified to perform Brazilian Blowout Treatments.

While enjoying classic styling, keeping up with the latest trends and cutting/ color techniques is a must for this top stylist/ color specialist. She has attended various Unite Academy cutting classes, Shu Uemura styling classes and many other advanced color classes, such as training with renowned celebrity stylist Michael Canale.

Creating the perfect color for her clients is Corey’s love and passion and gives her a great sense of satisfaction. She has also styled for photo shoots, weddings and special occasions.

Pursuing a career in hair at age fifteen, this East Coast native worked in NYC at some of the top hair salons.
After relocating to the Los Angeles area, he began on Rodeo Drive and soon arrived in Manhattan Beach eager to pursue his passion for styling. Stephen D’Amico is a master stylist extremely adept at matching clients’ skin tones and eye colors to their personas and lifestyles to achieve a cut, color, and style complimenting their face frames. Stephen also is a national platform artist and educator for Brazilian Blowout. He also offers additional services such as and hair extensions of all types.

Be it a charity event or exotic wedding, Stephen’s experience as a master stylist is clearly evident. His clientele can be seen posing for photo shoots and walking the runway at New York’s Fashion Week Shows.

Extensive training from Toni and Guy, High-end Beverly Hills Salons, Kerastase, along with up to date In-salon Education has brought Bryan to be the modern stylist he is today.

Specializing in Ombre and Balayage techniques, he utilizes a fine eye for detail when performing all color service projects. His precision cutting style is proudly worn by L.A. celebrity. Using creativity, along with client request, allows Bryan to customize a look that is specific to each person.

There is nothing Kim is more passionate about than hair and beauty. Being the well-rounded stylist that she is, Kim is highly skilled in both coloring and cutting. She continues to train and perfect her art by taking classes with renowned educators from L’oreal, Kerastase, Unite, Schwartzkopf, Shu Uemura, and Vidal Sassoon.

Having a keen eye, she is able to see what looks best with the face shape and complexion of each client. On top of being an amazing colorist and stylist, she has a niche for styling and is our go-to girl for trendy up-dos and braids! Not only does Kim listen but she genuinely cares for each person that sits in her chair and helps them achieve a beautiful style that best suits them.

She is also extremely patient, friendly, and accommodating which provides a comfortable and stress free environment for all of her clients.

Born and raised in manhattan beach, this local loves everything from funky updos to classic sun kissed highlights.

Ashly is continuously expanding her education whether it’s in salon education or outside classes on the latest products and techniques. She places high value on listening to her clients, understanding their needs, and strives for unlimited creativity.

I was born and raised on the island of Oahu, and moved to California in 2010 to further my career as a hair stylist. I immediately fell in love with the South Bay, and have enjoyed meeting so many amazing people.

When I started my career, I multitasked as an aesthetician, nail technician, make-up artist, as well as a hair stylist. I currently only concentrate on hair, and specialize in cutting and coloring. I always love learning new techniques and expanding my education.

I love my job, laughing with my clients, and working so close to the beach!

Started as a hairstylist in Las gatos, worked over 20 years in San Francisco doing hair. Rebecca is excited to have relocated to Manhattan Beach with her family. She is Vidal Sassoon trained & always expanding her knowledge by staying up to date with the latest & best looks for her clients.

I come from a family of people in the industry—growing up in salons, I always knew hair and the beauty industry was my passion and my calling.

I went to Toni and guy Academy in Santa Monica and have been with Hush Hush ever since. I do Everything from color, cuts, extensions, and Brazilian blow outs. color and blondes are my favorite and I love being able to be creative with my clients. I do continuous training with Kerastase, and Shu Eumera, staying on top of all the latest trends.

A Latvian native, Ugis initially attended hair school in Europe, then began his hairstyling career in Los Angeles.

After beginning work at top salons like Fred Segal (Santa Monica) and John Frieda (West Hollywood) he spent last 7 years at the LuxeLab Salon in Santa Monica where he met the highest standards in the industry and became proficient at the craft of hairstyling. After catering to high end clientele, including celebrities, Ugis admits that he has been very fortunate in his career to be surrounded by and learn from several of the top hairstylists in the country. A fundamentally strong colorist and cutter, he considers himself more of an ‘organic’ hairstylist, though, he is an expert in creating a perfect Vidal Sassoon bob, if requested.

I was proudly raised in Sonoma County but made the decision to move to Southern California for all the amazing opportunities it has to offer. I graduated from Toni&Guy Academy with honors and my passion for hair has only escalated since my training there.

I have done a numerous amount of photoshoots and weddings and love to continue my education doing advanced classes all over Los Angeles. Being able to come to work and make people feel beautiful and confident makes my heart so full.

She is the first American woman to become Sassoon’s Creative Director for salons in  Bevrly Hills, NYC, and London.  Collaborating in numerous TV commercials throughout Asia, Austrailia, Europe and USA. Her multi-cultural influences comes from her well-traveled experiences, and living abroad in France, Monte Carlo, and London, and in L.A. and NYC.
